Welcome Friends! 

2008 is going to be an exciting year... BRING IT ON! All of us at WW AND AH have a lot to be excited about!

First off, we have received several wonderful in-kind donations of Children's Books from two new book sellers, namely Scholastic Book Fair and Half Price Books; together these two donated over 25,000 books to our organization! 

And... have committed to getting more for us as we expand statewide here in Wisconsin in the next several months!

 

In a like manner, we have had wonderful support from a core of over 25 different volunteers to help out WW AND AH, by putting stickers on the books, stamping the books and sorting the books before we send them out into the community!  Without their help getting this job done would be impossible!  A big "THANKS" to all of you that helped!

 

Additionally, we will soon be starting a promotional TV campaign on Fox 47 TV  here in the Madison area.  The station manager and staff are quite excited about finding us a Regional Sponsor to help inform the public about our new programs. Additionally, we have just been invited by Z104 and their sister stations to do an informational piece next week that will air during a morning talk show!  Are there any polished speakers out there that might like to join Chris and I, or at least call in and voice your opinions and comments!!.

 

Lastly, we have just put out some advertising for a "Fund Raising Coordinator" to join us at WW AND AH, so if any of you know of anyone with the right personality and maybe some experience in that area have them give us a call.  We would love to talk with them and certainly need the help in that area of expertise.  Well... that's it for now.
