Dear Friends of WW & AH,
 
The "B.A.C.K. Packets" program has now taken off statewide here in Wisconsin and will very shortly have a presence in every city, village and township... from Superior to Beloit and everywhere in-between!  With the "Official Endorsement" of the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association and the Badger State Sheriff's Association we are well on the way to making a huge "positive" difference in the lives of many children who happen to be caught up in some sort of a crisis situation.  The heartwarming stories that many officers have written to tell us... nearly take your breath away!  We have so much to be thankful for.
 
Other BIG news "From the Field" would have to be both our "Scholastic Book Fairs - One For Books" fundraiser at the Windsor, Wisconsin location running from May 9th thru May 31st ...and the "Statewide Barnes & Noble Voucher Bookfairs" along with the "Statewide Half Priced Books Bookfairs" which are both being held on Saturday June 14th, 2008 (Father's Day weekend!) at every one of their stores throughout Wisconsin. Borders also has agreeded to have all of their stores (6 in Wisconsin and several in Illinois) help out in this campaign as well!

Whereas, a certain amount of the proceeds from books that are sold that day and other books that are bought just for us will be donated to WW AND AH.  This combination should make for a wonderful campaign, both for public awareness of our programs and to help raise some funding to go toward our overall operational costs and expenses to expand our programs!
 
Lastly, those of you that are in the Eastern half of the state... from Kenosha to Appleton, watch for us on WTMJ-TV 4 on May 1st from 9:00 a.m. til 10:00 a.m. on " the Morning Blend" news segment... for a special update from the Co-Founders of WW AND AH !!  We will be announcing a "SPECIAL EVENT" that is sure to get people talking all over the Midwest!!  There is so much to be excited about so make sure to share the information with all of your friends!
