Now more
than ever, we need your help and
support! "With Wings and a Halo -
R.E.A.C.H. a Child!" has recently
received the endorsement of the Dane
County Chief's of Police
Association, The Madison Police
Department and the Emergency Medical
Services Association... and will
soon become endorsed by the State of
Wisconsin Chief's of Police
Association!
As a result of that we will be supplying every squad car and ambulance or emergency vehicle with a "B.A.C.K. Packet" of Children's Books (roughly 10-12 books for toddlers to pre-teens!) here in Wisconsin. That will be approximatley 3,500 - 4,000 Children's Books in Dane County alone, which has already "kicked off" as of December 13th, 2007.
As a result of that we will be supplying every squad car and ambulance or emergency vehicle with a "B.A.C.K. We are
anticipating going statewide with
this initiative by April of 2008,
then, nationally within the next
18-24 months! All Authors,
Publishers, Book Stores and
Children's Book Enthusiasts are
encouraged to become a part of our
program by donating their surplus Children's
Books so we can get them into the
hands of children in a time of
crisis!
All of
your donations are tax deductible
and much appreciated by all of us at
WW AND AH and by the children
themselves! We are thrilled with
the support of organizations like
Scholastic Book Fairs, Half Priced
Books, The University Book Store,
First Book and others who have
already gotten on board!
